Brian Kachinsky, a.k.a. BK, is a smart and humble guy. 

This University of Wisconsin graduate has a ton of energy and always funnels his positive vibes into his BMX riding or his entrepreneurial endeavors. He is the proud owner and operator of The Bakery -- a private, indoor BMX paradise located near his home in Chicago. Brian joined the Vans team this year and in 2014, will be rocking Vans from head to toe.

I wish I could do good turndowns and lookbacks. I have done them, but they look gross. Can someone give me lessons?

Losing loved ones is always the worst, but it also makes you appreciate the important people you have in your life.

WHAT ARE SOME INTERESTS/HOBBIES OUTSIDE OF BMX?

I love traveling and experiencing new cultures. Meeting new people and seeing new places are passions of mine.

I’m currently reading Lost on Planet China and it’s pretty hilarious because I can relate to a lot of it from personal experience.
